I’ve been thinking for a while what else I can do to make my gifts more personal…. I already make personalised Cakes and hampers but what could I do with the other bits I create? Well… I was thinking for a while about engraving, watched lots of youtube videos  and last week I finally got my first engraving set!
I was so excited I can give it a go that I tried it on few materials: metal, wood, plastic and glass.  I have to say that I need loooots of practice BUT I am happy with my first results and I got my first order for a personalised keyring with customer’s name on it!
The lady who collected the keyring was very happy with the result and it means a lot for me   
Here is my first job:

After this I decided to try if it’s hard to write on glass… without any stencils just hand engraving. It wasn’t easy as it’s very slipper but it was better than on metal  Now I have my very own Glass!  I know it doesn’t look very good but it was my 1st try and I think I can do better than this. I just need more time and loooots of practice!!!
I hope I will be able to offer whole new range of gifts before Christmas…
